Youth Fusion is a non-profit organization in Montreal that aims to help teenagers at risk of dropping out of school by partnering high schools with universities.  It encourages university students to work as mentors and coordinators for projects that creatively stimulate high school students.  By engaging students in meaningful activities, the programs help foster a sense of belonging and sustains their interest in education.

Graduates of Concordia University are well-represented among Vigilant Futures employees and the university is appropriately considered one of Canada’s most innovative.  Based in downtown Montreal, the university community thrives on the multicultural richness of its environment.  Concordia offers a refreshingly international approach to teaching, research and corporate responsibility thanks in part to its diversification.

Montreal’s École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), founded in 1974 as part of l’Université du Québec, offers degree and diploma programs in applied engineering and technology, and technology transfers to business.  Their Bachelor of Engineering programs are specifically designed for students with a college-level technical diploma wishing to continue a career in engineering.  ETS’ believes in the value of guiding youth through various stages of learning and creating links between the classroom and the workforce through a co-op program with up to 40% student participation.
